Hilary Duff New Series 'Younger' with Sutton Foster Coming to TV Land Jan 2015
Hilary Duff is returning to the small screen as a New York City girl in the new original series "Younger" starring alongside Sutton Foster and Debi Mazar. The new series, written and directed by "Sex and The City" creator Darren Star will air on TV Land. You can watch two teaser clips from the show above.
Plot: Liza is a 40-year-old recently divorced single mother looking to get a job, which proves difficult for a woman of her age. After a compliment from a much younger man, she decides to get a makeover, courtesy of her friend Maggie, in order to look like she is in her mid-twenties. Ultimately, she becomes an assistant to Diana, who pairs her with co-worker Kelsey.
"Younger" stars Sutton Foster as Liza, Hilary Duff as Kelsey, Miriam Shor as Maggie and Debi Mazar as Diana. The new show was written and directed by Darren Star and produced by Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox.
The new series is set to air on TV Land in January 2015. The first season will consist of 12 episodes.
Hilary Duff, a native of Houston, Texas, came to national stardom by appearing on the Disney Channel television series "Lizzie McGuire" in the early 2000s and its motion picture The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003). She later appeared in feature films including Agent Cody Banks (2003), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), A Cinderella Story (2004), and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), which are among the biggest commercial successes of her career.
