Author Dr. Ron Kaiser Reveals How We Can Age With Enthusiasm in New Book

It's inevitable that we're all going to age, but Dr. Ronald Kaiser has discovered a way to make it enjoyable. In his new book, Rejuvenating: The Art and Science of Growing Older with Enthusiasm, Dr. Kaiser lays out the path to notonly embracing our later years but making them the best half of our lives. Drawing on more than a half-century of clinical experience, and 80 years of living, Kaiser shares his simple plan to success.

In addition to serving on staff at both Jefferson and Methodist Hospitals, Dr. Kaiser is Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and trains doctoral level interns. Many of his major professional contributions have occurred since the age of 70.

As he entered these active later years in life, Dr. Kaiser became concerned that too many people were aging with preventable disease and sometimes dying from them.

This change he is referring to is called Neuroplasticity, meaning the brain can develop new pathways and neurons in the brain can grow and change at any age, enabling us to continue learning and developing our brains throughout our lifetimes. It's an outstanding scientific breakthrough.

A professional in the field of Positive Psychology, Kaiser emphasizes the importance of attitude.
