What should the Church be singing-and how closely should its worship reflect the words of Scripture? For John Wilds, Bethel Music's new single, "All The Glory (Live)," carries an answer rooted in the heavenly worship described in Revelation.

Released October 9, the song features Wilds and introduces Bethel Music's forthcoming live album, due in 2027. Recorded during the collective's 2026 Worship School in Redding, California, the track arrives with a live performance video and an invitation for congregations to consider how the Bible shapes their declarations of praise.
The song began with something far smaller than a room full of worshippers: a voice memo containing a verse and part of a chorus. Wilds brought the unfinished idea to a writing retreat with Brooke Ligertwood and Josh Baldwin, where the collaborators turned to Revelation 4 and 5.
"This song is so special to me," Wilds shares. "We started reading straight from Revelation chapters 4 and 5, and from the very beginning, you could tell there was something special about this song."
That encounter with the biblical text became central to the song's purpose. Drawing on Revelation's scenes of elders, angels, and people from every tribe and tongue honoring the Lamb, "All The Glory" directs its praise toward Jesus and His worthiness to receive glory and honor.
For Wilds, the connection between Scripture and congregational singing deserves deliberate attention. A worship song gives a room full of people words to repeat together, making its language part of how they express and remember their faith.
"I believe it's such an important song for the Church because the Church needs to be singing the Word of God," he explains. "If this is what Heaven is singing, then I think it's important for us to join in."
That conviction gives the release an application beyond an individual listening experience. Worship leaders planning a Sunday service, pastors considering the relationship between preaching and music, and listeners choosing songs for personal devotion can all recognize the question beneath it: What are these words teaching us to confess about Jesus?
The live recording places that question within a gathered worship setting. Written through engagement with Scripture and recorded among participants at Worship School, the song connects its biblical imagery with the shared act of singing.
Bethel Music CEO Dominic Shahbon describes the release as an expression of the collective's central purpose. "'All The Glory' is a beautiful declaration of what we believe: that Jesus alone is worthy of all honor, glory and praise," he says.
As the first release from the forthcoming 2027 album, the single also offers an opening glimpse of the music ahead. Shahbon says the community's prayer is that these songs draw the Church into "a deeper revelation of Jesus and a greater affection for His presence."
