After the infamous resignation of its senior pastor Mark Driscoll, the Seattle-based Mars Hill Church has decided to completely dissolve by the end of the year. Each of the 13 congregations were given the decision to either dissolve, go independent or merge with another church. Now the congregations have made their decisions.

Lakewood Church's co-senior pastor Victoria Osteen and the wife of popular preacher and author Joel Osteen will take part in a new TV special focusing on the Bible's most famous ladies. The two-hour long show will be called "Women of the Bible" and will air on Lifetime Dec. 7 as a prelude to the start of a new drama series focused on four women from the Old Testament.
The Blackwood Brothers Quartet was formed in 1934 with brothers Roy, Doyle, James and Roy's son, R.W. In the late 50s Roy and Doyle retired from traveling and in 1954 R.W. was killed in a tragic airplane crash. However the quartet with James, as the quartets' leader and spokesman, established a new group of singers who would go on to take Gospel music to new heights. 80 years later, they are celebrating this milestone with the release of "Forever: 80th Anniversary Recording" via Daywind Records on November 18th.
