'Arrow' Season 3 Update: The Search for Sara's Killer
Fans are excited to see the next events of the television series "Arrow" as things become more intense.
The second episode of "Arrow" Season 3, entitled "Sara," will concentrate more on Sara's death. According to Daily News, Laurel brings Sara's body to the group. Laurel demands to lend a hand on Oliver in looking for Sara's killer, but he just tells her to go home. Captain Lance informs Oliver that another archer in the city is killing the people. Oliver teams up with Felicity and Diggle and he identifies that the archer is Simon Lacroix. They soon find out the next target of Lacroix and they are able to halt his plans. Laurel shows up with a gun, planning to kill Lacroix to avenge Sara's death. Lacroix confessed that he was not in Startling City the night Sara died. Upon knowing this, Oliver and his team are left with no clue on Sara's killer. They bury Sara, leaving Laurel unable to tell Quentin about Sara's death. Roy also tells Oliver that Thea left the town when she finds out that he was working with the Arrow.
In Corto Maltese, Thea is with Malcolm and has proven able of defeating a number of henchmen in fighting. In the flashback, Oliver is tasked with killing Tommy Merlyn. In order to save Tommy, Oliver pretends to kidnap him and makes him think that it was a deception to gain ransom money. The synopsis of the third episode is revealed in Hypable. Oliver looks for Thea in Corto Maltese while Diggle traces A.R.G.U.S. Agent Mark Shaw. Lyla requests Diggle to go with Oliver since Mark Shaw was also in Corto Maltese. Then, Roy also joins Oliver and Digger on their mission as he feels that he has a responsibility for Thea's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Felicity was able to trace Thea's location. Laurel comes across with Ted Grant while Felicity learns to cope well with her new job.
IGN also reveals that Arrow and The Flash will have a big crossover in each show's eighth episode this season. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin, who play Oliver Queen/Arrow and Barry Allen/The Flash spoke their thoughts in a statement in IGN. "I was talking about this yesterday with a friend; about how Oliver and Barry are so different and me and Stephen are just really different. We really get along outside of work and it's been fun to show Barry and Oliver kind of butting heads. We're seeing them learn how to work together, but it's really funny because they're so different and the conversations they have are hilarious," Gustin said. "It's my idea. I can't tell you anything about it other than it related to Central city. When I saw it in the Flash script, it ended up being really actually quite gratifying. First of all, when I say it was my idea, everyone has ideas all the time. It all goes into a melting pot. I just thought it would be a cool idea. I thought it would be a cool idea for The Flash. It ended up being a cool idea that we were able to utilize me for because we were doing a crossover with The Flash. So it was very professionally gratifying," Amell said.
What will happen to the characters? Watch the third episode, entitle "Corto Maltese" on Oct. 22 on CW television network.
