Kari Jobe Raising Awareness to Adoption Via Lifesong for Orphans
Worship leader and songwriter of church favorites such as "Forever," Kari Jobe is raising awareness to adoption. Jobe is asking her fans to get involved in the non-profit organisation called Lifesong for Orphans. "Tonight I'm leading worship for a fundraiser that a sweet couple is doing to raise money to adopt these precious boys from Uganda - Jonathan and Emmanuel," she wrote on her Facebook page. "As I listened to their story I had tears in my eyes."
"As we do this event tonight, I am praying for any of you that are in this same place - needing the funds, breakthroughs for the adoptions to go through, etc. Lets join our hearts together," she said.
The mission of Lifesong for Orphans is to give joy and purpose to orphans, and they are doing so by mobilising the church and God's people to provide a unique and special service, be it to adopt, give care, or just simply give. The organisation wants to ensure that none of their children will want for food, clothing, medical care, and shelter, and that they will be raised with fundamental Christian training and discipleship. At the same time, they aim to provide a quality education that will serve as their foundation for the future. They are also committed to providing continued love and support as the kids transition into adulthood.
