MOBO Award Nominated Gospel Musician Olaedo Ibe Unveils New Single ‘Lead Me’
Coming on the back of her well-received debut EP Shine Like Gold which was released last year, British Nigerian singer, songwriter and composer, and MOBO Award nominee Olaedo Ibe is proud to announce her brand new single 'Lead Me', which is taken from her forthcoming sophomore EP Grow To Glow.
Produced by GKid, whose previous production credtis include working with the likes of Faith Child, Guvna B and Triple O, 'Lead Me' is a exciting and passionate Hip Hop/Soul number with spoken word elements, which sees Olaedo Ibe offering up a prayer to God for guidance through this journey of life.
Showing off her vocal abilities, refreshing tone and melodies, and sincere and relatable songwriting dexterity over the GKid-produced musical backdrop, Olaedo Ibe gloriously merges Gospel, Hip Hop, Soul and Spoken Word to excellent effect, and has created a captivating song, with a real and impassioned message.
Speaking about the inspiration behind her new 'Lead Me' single, Olaedo says, "the song is actually a prayer that evolved into a song. It inspires and reassures me that even though I may not know everything, God truly does. I hope it inspires my listeners to trust God's guidance in every area of their lives".
