Bob Sellers Leaves The Kingsmen
Ray Dean Reese of The Kingsmen Quartet announced today that change will soon affect the legendary group.
"Just as with life, everything has a season," says Reese. "These seasons are to be expected, yet there's always a bit a sadness when changes arrive. Today, we're announcing that our lead vocalist of almost seven years, Bob Sellers, will be leaving the group following the second week in June. Bob has served this group admirably and consistently, and we appreciate the commitment and dedication he's exhibited during his time with us.
"Bob will be focusing his time on the entrepreneurship he's established in his home state of Alabama, as well enjoying the family time such opportunities allow," continues Ray. "You'll be able to see Bob cheering on his daughter Corley as she plays basketball for the University Of West Alabama, and you'll also be able hear Bob sing as he sings in area churches as his time permits.
"While we're excited to see Bob enter this new season of his life, we're also excited to see what God has in store for The Kingsmen. Somewhere out there is the next lead singer for this quartet. If you would like to audition please send a Demo, Photo and Bio to Kingsmenauditions@gmail.com.
"We sincerely ask that you pray for Bob and his family, as well as The Kingsmen. We appreciate each and every one of you."
