US will face Portugal on Sunday in a big World Cup 2014 Group G game as the second round of group games come to a close today.US won the first game against Ghana which has surprised many.If US win,they will qualify for the knockout round.Lose both Portugal and Ghana move ahead of the US in the race for second place in Group G.
Portugal, ranked No. 4 in the world, is missing four players: striker Hugo Almeida, goalkeeper Rui Patricio and defender Fabio Coentrao, all of whom are injured, and defender Pepe, who was suspended one game after drawing a red card in the opening 4-0 loss to Germany.

After watching the end of the game Germany vs Ghana,US national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann said:"It's a huge opportunity for us, and we will definitely go for it," the former German scoring ace said. "It's going to be a very dramatic group."
Goalkeeper Tim Howard said:"This is a massive game,a turning point for us.If we can win the game,we put ourselves in the next round...If we can win and take care of business,the rest is history.It's executing."
