We have all been waiting in anticipation for what the next installment of the Originals series will bring to the screens after the roaring success of the first one, though some of the writers and leading actors have given us a sneak peak of what to expect. First things first, it seems that the premiere of the second season will debut some time in the fall. According to Joseph Morgan, who plays one of the leading roles as Klaus Mikaelson, the second season should be back in time for Halloween as the premiere should be October 6th.
The new season will bring a few new characters like Sonja Sohn who was a former star on the hit HBO series 'The Wire'. She will play the role of a powerful witch known as Lenore, who is poised to bring lots of trouble to Klaus and vampire nation as usual. Daniel Sharmen from 'Teen Wolf' is also set to join supernatural as a witch/ seductive element for women in the French quarter. As for the primary and secondary plot lets, the Mikaelson family has to deal with the return of two very old and malevolent forces that are family to them which always ends badly.
Similarly, Hayley has to deal with the loss or rather separation of her from her baby. This is going to exhibit a more lost and broken side of her as we have only focused on her because of the child and her identity without becomes something of a question mark even to her. Overall, the new spin off series season is set to be chock full of excitement and supernatural drama for all the vampire fans out there.
