Hillsong Worship Receives 2020 Latin GRAMMY Nomination
Today, multi-platinum-selling and award-winning Christian music powerhouse Hillsong Worship received a 2020 Latin GRAMMY nomination for "Best Christian Album" for their debut Spanish record, "HAY MÁS" ("There is More"). Entering the Spanish language market in a big way, their breakout single, "Hermoso Nombre" garnered over 10M global streams within the first week of its release.
"HAY MÁS" is an extension of the groups' chart-topping "There Is More" project and features the vocals of Brooke Ligertwood, Taya, Jad Gillies, Aodhan King, and David Ware singing all songs in Spanish for the first time backed by a choir made up of local worship leaders from Hillsong Buenos Aires. A global and local expression of Hillsong Church, the 11-track compilation includes songs such as, "Who You Say I Am," "The Passion," and "New Wine," along with Hillsong Worship favorites "What A Beautiful Name," and "I Surrender," among others.
The 21st annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will air live from Miami on November 19th at 8 p.m. ET on Univision.
