Dr. Campo's illustrious career spans the intersection of academia, faith, and community leadership. In his previous roles as president at Ashland and Regent University and his extensive contributions to various national boards underscore his visionary leadership and dedication to advancing knowledge and inclusivity.
As prominent figure in the Hispanic evangelical community, Dr. Campo serves as the vice chair of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and chairs the Hispanic Education Alliance. His focus on enhancing educational opportunities for Hispanic students and advocating for immigration reform has been instrumental in effecting positive change.
At Ashland University, Dr. Campo's commitment extended beyond his presidential role. He actively engaged in various educational and athletic organizations, representing the university on the NCAA President's Council and contributing significantly to the Museum of the Bible's educational committee. As founder of the Faith and Education Coalition, Dr. Campo's distinguished career is punctuated with accolades, including Educator of the Year, the MLK Community Leader Award, and inclusion in prestigious power lists.
