This Easter season, families are being invited to slow down, reflect, and reconnect through faith-centered storytelling as Great American Media launches 40 Days of Scripture & Film, a cross-platform experience designed to accompany viewers on a meaningful journey from now through Easter Sunday. Spanning Great American Pure Flix, Great American Family, and GFAM+, the initiative combines uplifting films, daily Scripture, and new original programming to help audiences celebrate the season with intention and hope.
At the heart of the celebration is an invitation for viewers to engage with stories that reflect faith in everyday life. Throughout the 40-day event, Great American Pure Flix will feature a curated collection of inspirational films, including The Blind, The Girl Who Believes in Miracles, 5000 Blankets, Learning to Love, 47 Days with Jesus, and God's Not Dead, offering families opportunities for reflection and conversation around shared values and spiritual growth.
A major highlight of the season is the World Premiere of the Original Movie Blessings in Disguise, starring Shae Robins and Casey Elliott. The film follows a fashion designer who quietly stitches Scripture into every custom piece and a craftsman seeking deeper purpose in his work - a story centered on faith, creativity, and transformation. The movie streams March 27 on Great American Pure Flix and airs March 28 at 8 PM on Great American Family and GFAM+.
The Easter lineup also includes the mid-winter finale of Season 1 of Crossroad Springs and the return of When Hope Calls: Brookfield, providing viewers with fresh episodes and heartfelt storytelling throughout the season.
Beyond the screen, the initiative encourages personal engagement through daily Scripture tied to featured films, along with opportunities for viewers to share prayer requests and messages of gratitude across Great American Media's digital and social platforms. The goal is to create a shared space where entertainment and faith intersect in practical, encouraging ways.
"Easter is about creating space for reflection and renewal," said Kaitlyn Haubrich, Chief Brand Officer of Great American Media. "Through inspiring films and meaningful Scripture, we are inviting families to come together and prepare for the season in a way that is both personal and uplifting."
Founded in 2021 by Bill Abbott and a group of U.S.-based family offices, Great American Media has grown rapidly as a destination for faith- and family-focused entertainment, delivering original movies, series, and streaming experiences designed to celebrate faith, family, and hope.
