Pitch Perfect 2 release date: May 2015 - Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the Barden Bellas will grace the screen once again with perfect songs and is directed by Elizabeth Banks
Pitch Perfect 2 movie will let fans experience Acapella way better than its successor again. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Sklylar Astin, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Hanna Mae Lee and Elizabeth Banks - returns to entertain us once again with their mash-ups of the latest songs around.
Expect funny and hilarious moments delivered by Rebel Wilson - and the gang - as she reprises her role as Fat Amy. Perfect Pitch was Wilson's ticket to stardom - thus the many projects she has in production. The Aussie actress is set to star in bigger productions like Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Kung Fu Panda 3.
Anna Kendrick, on the other hand, started as the quirky Jessica Stanley in the Twilight Saga, and surprisingly was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the movie Up in the Air with George Clooney. She did a bit of comedy and drama for the past years - and is set to return to the big screen with Into the Woods as Cinderella, alongside biggies Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and Emily Blunt.
In a new development, Elizabeth Banks will be directing the film and at the same time star as the host of the Acapella competition as Gail Abernathy-McKadden. This is Banks first mainstream film directorial debut.
Included in this film is another Academy award nominee Hailee Steinfield as the newest member of the Barden Bellas.
Pitch Perfect 2 hitting theaters come May 15, 2015.
