If "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" has ever been sung in your church, you already know Matt Crocker's work - you just may not have known his name.

The Australian worship leader and songwriter behind some of the most-sung Christian anthems of the last two decades officially released his new live album, house partiii (Vol. 1), today, May 22, through his independent label. The project marks his second solo release following his 2025 debut studio album interlude and captures what live worship does best - a room full of people, unfiltered and present.

Crocker spent years as a core member of Hillsong United, co-writing songs that went on to define modern congregational worship worldwide. "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" alone spent a record 61 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. "This I Believe (The Creed)" and "I Surrender" followed, cementing him as one of the most quietly influential songwriters in the genre.

house partiii (Vol. 1) includes a live recording of "Oceans" - heard here in Crocker's own voice, in an intimate setting that returns the song to what it has always been at its core: a prayer about surrendering to God in the deep places, the spaces where nothing solid remains beneath you. For a song that has been sung by millions in arenas and sanctuaries alike, hearing it in this form is its own kind of moment.

Since stepping into his solo season, Crocker has been deliberate and unhurried. This live album is not a reset - it is a continuation. A songwriter discovering what his songs sound like when he is the one leading the room.

house partiii (Vol. 1) [Live] by Matt Crocker is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.
