As GRIFFITH continues to make waves on the U.S. 250 Tour, the family-based group is stepping into new territory with the release of their patriotic new single, "I Still Believe." Blending country and rock influences with a message rooted in faith, family, and freedom, the song has quickly become a standout moment in the band's live performances. We caught up with GRIFFITH to talk about the inspiration behind the song, how it found its way from an old demo to a powerful anthem for today's audiences, and what this exciting new season means for the group.

Q: For readers who may be discovering GRIFFITH for the first time, can you share a little about the band's journey and the mission that drives your music?

Our mission has always been simple: to be a light to people through everything we do. We believe our lives and our music should reflect who Jesus is, and if we lose sight of that, we've missed the purpose behind it all.

GRIFFITH's journey began in small churches, singing for anyone willing to listen. Along the way, Julie and I shared our testimony of how God restored our marriage and gave us a new story to tell, and a new song to sing. What started as a ministry rooted in God's faithfulness has grown into something even more special. Today, our daughter Jaidyn joins us on stage each night, and we have the privilege of traveling and serving together as a family.

Seeing lives encouraged and getting to do it alongside our family is an incredible blessing. We truly can't imagine anything better.

Q: What was it about "I Still Believe" that immediately connected with you and convinced you this was the right song for GRIFFITH at this moment?

When we were asked to be the band for the U.S. 250 Tour, "I Still Believe" immediately came to mind. Back in 2020, I was producing demos for songwriter Brett Black, and that song had always stayed with us. Julie and I remembered it right away because of how powerfully its message resonates.

What connects us to the song is its simple but deeply meaningful message. We believe it reflects what so many Americans feel in their hearts: that this is still the greatest country in the world and that the faith and values upon which it was founded are worth preserving. "I Still Believe" speaks to hope, conviction, and a love for our country, and those themes align perfectly with who we are and what we want to share through our music at this moment.

Q: The song highlights faith, family, and freedom. Why were those themes important for you to champion through this release?

Faith, family, and freedom are at the core of who we are, so championing those themes through this release felt completely natural. Our faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of our lives and the driving force behind everything we do. We strive to honor Him through our music, our family, and the way we live each day.

Family is one of God's greatest blessings, and we're grateful that we get to share this journey together. Freedom is something we never take for granted. We believe the values and principles that helped shape this nation were deeply rooted in faith, and those foundations have played a vital role in preserving the freedoms we enjoy today.

This song gave us an opportunity to celebrate all three of those things-faith, family, and freedom-and remind people of the hope, gratitude, and responsibility that come with them.

Q: "I Still Believe" has become a standout moment during your U.S. 250 Tour performances. What kind of reactions have you been hearing from audiences across the country?

The response on the U.S. 250 Tour has been incredible. Night after night, we see hands go up and hear people singing and cheering in agreement as soon as the song starts. It's clear that the message resonates deeply with audiences across the country.

What has stood out most, though, is what happens after the show. During meet-and-greets, "I Still Believe" is often the song people want to talk about. Many share how its message reflects their own beliefs and values, and they're grateful to hear a song that speaks so openly about faith, family, and love of country. Those conversations have been incredibly encouraging and remind us why we do what we do.

Q: The song blends gospel, country, and rock influences. How do you balance exploring new musical territory while remaining rooted in your faith-centered message?

We're very intentional about the songs we choose to record and perform. While we enjoy exploring different musical styles and influences, we always want to make sure the message aligns with our faith and the values we stand for. The lyrics and the heart behind a song are just as important to us as the music itself.

At the same time, there are a lot of diverse musical influences within the band. We all bring different tastes and backgrounds to the table, which allows us to blend elements of gospel, country, rock, and other styles in a way that feels authentic. Rather than fitting into one musical box, we try to create arrangements that best serve the message of each song.

No matter where the music takes us stylistically, our goal remains the same: to honor God, encourage people, and share a message of hope through everything we do.

Q: Looking ahead, what can fans expect from GRIFFITH in terms of new music, touring, and future ministry opportunities?

The U.S. 250 Tour is keeping us very busy right now, and we're incredibly grateful for every opportunity to connect with people across the country. At the same time, we're already working on new music and exciting projects for the future. Fans can expect new songs that reflect both our gospel roots and the themes that have become such an important part of this tour.

More than anything, our goal is simply to reach people with a message of hope, faith, and encouragement. Whether that comes through new music, touring, ministry events, or opportunities we haven't even imagined yet, we want to be available wherever the Lord leads us.

We're excited about what's ahead, but our mission remains the same as it has always been: to use the gifts God has given us to serve others and share His love wherever He opens the door.
