After years spent touring, producing music for other artists, and walking through some deeply personal seasons, Chris Golden is finally back with a brand-new solo album-and fans don't have to wait another minute to hear it. Witness is officially out now.

The long-awaited project marks Golden's first solo release since Grateful, an album that enjoyed an impressive run with seven radio singles. Rather than rushing another record, the acclaimed singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer spent the intervening years balancing a demanding career with family responsibilities, including caring for his mother during her final months, recording three albums alongside his father William Lee Golden and their family group, William Lee Golden & The Goldens, and producing projects for his children Elizabeth and Elijah as well as several other artists.

Now, Golden returns with Witness, an independently released collection that reflects both the joys and hardships of the past few years. Leading the project is the standout single "Piano For Sale," a heartfelt song that is already finding its audience and offering listeners another glimpse of Golden's signature storytelling and faith-filled artistry.

Golden's career has taken him across multiple musical genres and onto some of America's most iconic stages. He has toured with Alabama, Restless Heart, and The Oak Ridge Boys, while also performing for every living U.S. president and appearing at celebrated venues including the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium, Dollywood, The Huckabee Show, and Larry's Country Diner.

Away from the spotlight, Golden has also earned a reputation as one of Christian music's most respected producers. His accolades include the Inspirational Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year, Instrumentalist of the Year, and Producer of the Year honors. Yet he has consistently said that his greatest calling is using his musical gifts to point people toward Christ-a mission inspired by advice he received in 2010: "Play for the One who gave you the gift."

That passion shines throughout Witness, an album rooted in perseverance, hope, and unwavering faith. For longtime fans, it's the welcome return of one of gospel music's most versatile artists. For new listeners, it's an opportunity to discover an artist whose career has always been about much more than the music.
