Sandi Patty Releases "The Voice I Have Now"
"The Voice I Have Now" reflects on Patty's decades-long journey in music, her faith and the wisdom that comes with experience.
The song was written by acclaimed songwriter Joel Lindsey, known for his work with Kristin Chenoweth, Point of Grace and The Martins. Dove Award-winning producer Gordon Mote, who has worked with artists including Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson, produced the recording.
For Patty, the new song represents more than a musical comeback. It captures a new season of life and her continued desire to share the hope and faith that have shaped her nearly five-decade career.
"I'm not ready for the final bow"
That sentiment captures the heart of the song, as Patty looks ahead rather than viewing this milestone birthday as an ending.
