The Voice is back for a milestone 30th season - and it's bringing some of the biggest changes in the show's history.
Season 30 premieres Monday, September 21 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, kicking off with a supersized three-night premiere event that continues Tuesday and Wednesday.
Episodes stream the next day on Peacock, and for the first time ever, Live Shows will simulcast on both NBC and Peacock simultaneously.
Returning to the red chairs are Kelly Clarkson, now in her 11th season as Coach, and Adam Levine, back for his 19th. Joining them for their Coach debuts are hip-hop and jazz icon Queen Latifah and country star Riley Green, replacing John Legend on the panel. Carson Daly returns to host.
The new season introduces two major format twists. The "First In Button" replaces the traditional Block, giving whichever Coach turns their chair first the power to automatically claim an Artist - but it can only be used once all season. Then comes "Cut Week," billed as the biggest elimination round in Voice history, which narrows the teams down before Live Shows begin. Fans will also get new ways to vote, including SMS text and TikTok comments, and the eventual winner earns a performance slot at the 2027 Governors Ball.
It's not Green's first time on The Voice stage, either - the country singer performed his song "Jesus Saves" during Season 28's finale, giving fans a preview of the heart he now brings to his Coach role.
With four strong personalities, a revamped format, and new ways for fans to get involved, Season 30 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive - and unpredictable - yet.
