Garth Brooks' three-year radio partnership with TuneIn is coming to a close. The country superstar's Sevens Radio Network, including flagship station The Big 615, is winding down on the platform as TuneIn completes its acquisition by Canadian media company Stingray Group in a deal valued at up to $175 million.
Brooks launched Sevens Radio on TuneIn in 2023 after ending a six-year run with SiriusXM's "The Garth Channel." The Big 615, hosted by radio personality Storme Warren, built a following for playing deep cuts alongside hits and deliberately featuring female artists back-to-back - a departure from typical country radio programming Brooks has publicly criticized as too label-driven.
The radio news comes as Brooks stays busy on multiple fronts. He's set to release a vinyl edition of "Double Live," his best-selling live album and the top-selling live album in music history, on November 6. He's also mid-run on his "Blame It All On My Roots" arena tour, which has added stops in Denver and Orlando this fall, bringing back his iconic Drum Pod stage setup.
Brooks has long woven his faith into his public moments, from singing "Amazing Grace" at the 2021 presidential inauguration to a signature line he's repeated in interviews for years: "Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." Whatever comes next for his radio ambitions, that thread has remained constant through every chapter of his career.
No word yet from Brooks or TuneIn on where Sevens Radio and The Big 615 might land next.
