In a surprise announcement, the group revealed The Long Surrender and The Fellow Passengers of Pain, a deluxe project due November 19. It will feature new songs and multiple collaborations, though the band has yet to reveal the full guest list.
Fans do not have to wait until November for the first taste. "Can't Apologize," a collaboration with Jonah Kagen, is out now. NEEDTOBREATHE introduced the song alongside the deluxe album announcement, calling Kagen "fantastic" and inviting listeners to hear what the two acts have made together.
Why release more music during The Long Surrender era? The band's explanation is that the songs kept coming. "We're in a time of overflow in the band," NEEDTOBREATHE wrote in its Instagram announcement. The members said they were proud of the new material and wanted to share it now, while this chapter of their music is still unfolding.
