Christian singer-songwriter and worship pastor Scott Riggan has released the deluxe edition of his deeply personal album, Shepherds and Wolves, through NRT Music. The expanded project arrives with three additional tracks, including a new interpretation of "Damaged" and two remixes by Kevin Waller.
The deluxe edition expands the original 12-track album to 15 songs, adding new perspectives to a project that explores faith, grief, betrayal, forgiveness, and healing.

"Damaged" Highlights the Power of Honesty and Grace
The deluxe edition's focus track, "Damaged," explores the fear of revealing personal struggles and the longing to be accepted despite one's brokenness.
Originally recorded by Fiction Family, the musical project of Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek, the song receives a deeply personal interpretation from Riggan.
Its message centers on the freedom of bringing hidden wounds into the light rather than pretending everything is fine. Through its vulnerable delivery, "Damaged" offers a reminder that grace meets people in their struggles and that healing can begin with honesty.

An Album Rooted in Faith, Grief, and Healing
Shepherds and Wolves draws on biblical imagery to examine the relationship between the Good Shepherd, those entrusted to care for others, and the dangers that can emerge when trust is broken.
Through cinematic Christian pop production, intimate piano arrangements, and emotionally direct storytelling, Riggan reflects on painful experiences while holding on to the hope and presence of God.
The album includes songs such as "Bring Me Home," "Song of the Shepherd," and "Song of the Wolf," which confront themes of rescue, spiritual guidance, abuse, and the misuse of power.
Other tracks, including "You're Forgiven Now," "Broken Pieces," and "Song of Peace," explore the difficult journey toward forgiveness and restoration.
The original album also features Riggan's interpretations of Andrew Peterson's "Always Good" and Cory Asbury's "Kind."
The deluxe edition adds Kevin Waller's remixes of "Bring Me Home" and "You're Always in My Heart," alongside "Damaged," bringing the album's themes of grace and restoration into sharper focus.
