Actress Ruby Rose says she was questioned over a child's death when she was just 15, an experience she calls "very traumatic." The 40-year-old shared the story on Kaitlyn Bristowe's "Off the Vine" podcast, in her first-ever podcast interview.

What she says happened

Rose says she and a friend came upon a badly injured young boy at a gathering. She picked him up and brought him to adults, believing she had saved his life. The boy was hospitalized, and he later died.

How a tragedy turned into an accusation

Rose says police arrived at her school to question her, and classmates began calling her a "baby killer." She says the experience left her breaking down. She clarified that police did not truly believe she had done anything.

How she says she was cleared

According to Rose, the boy's older brother later recovered his memory of what happened and told police, which cleared her. Even so, she says the child's mother did not want her at the funeral.
