Minno Premieres 'Jesus Stories' Today, With a New Animated Bible Story Planned Every Week in 2027

Christian kids' media company Minno premieres Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids: Jesus Stories today, Oct. 2. It is a new animated series about the life, miracles and teachings of Jesus, and it marks the start of a much larger expansion of the franchise.

The series brings true Bible stories to children, from miracles and parables to Jesus' encounters with the people around Him. It comes from the team behind The Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids, which won the 2020 Christian Book Award. A screen-free audio version is also available on Minno. The companion book follows on Oct. 13.

Minno says Jesus Stories goes deeper than most kids' Bibles, with 52 stories drawn from the Gospels. Jess Wolstenholm, the series' co-writer and executive producer, said the goal is for kids to know Jesus as a person, not just a character in a story.

The bigger news is what comes next. Beginning in 2027, Minno plans to release a new animated Bible story every week. The plan covers more than 200 stories, from Genesis to Revelation. CEO and co-founder Erick Goss said the aim is to give churches and families a way to teach the whole Bible.

The franchise already includes more than 65 animated episodes, bedtime stories, music, holiday specials, and Spanish, Portuguese and American Sign Language versions. Minno says its Laugh and Grow content has been viewed more than 200 million times on YouTube in the past year, and its channel has passed 1.7 million subscribers.

Families can watch Jesus Stories with a free trial of Minno starting today.
