Rising Gospel artist Kaleb Carson has officially launched his solo career with the release of "I Know A Name," a soul-filled rendition of the Elevation Worship anthem. The new single follows Carson's chart-topping collaboration with Anthony Evans, "You're Not Finished," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart.
Listeners can listen to "I Know A Name" now.
The new release introduces Carson as a solo artist while highlighting the faith and testimony that have shaped his musical journey. For Carson, the message of "I Know A Name" is particularly personal.
Carson survived leukemia after being diagnosed at just two years old. His family was initially told he had only a 10 percent chance of survival, and following complications from a life-saving procedure, doctors believed he might never speak.
Today, Carson uses the voice he was once told he might not have to share a message of hope centered on Jesus.
"I recorded 'I Know A Name' because I wanted to remind people that no matter what life looks like or what you may be facing, there is still power, hope, and peace in the name of Jesus," Carson shares.
The single arrives following a significant season in Carson's career. His collaboration with Anthony Evans, "You're Not Finished," earned his first No. 1 as a recording artist on the Billboard Gospel chart. He has also toured with Priscilla Shirer, Anthony Evans and Chandler Moore, sharing his music and testimony with audiences across the country.
Carson's momentum continues into the remainder of 2026, as he has joined multi-Platinum R&B artist Babyface on tour as a background singer.
From surviving childhood cancer to earning his first chart-topping single, Carson's journey is closely connected to the message behind his debut solo release. With "I Know A Name," he begins a new chapter that brings together his artistry, testimony and faith.
The single offers listeners a reminder that hope can remain present even in difficult circumstances, while pointing hearts toward the name of Jesus.
