Reacher star Alan Ritchson is back on Netflix's viewing charts, thanks to the 2024 World War II film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Why is it trending? The Guy Ritchie movie returned to Netflix last month and drew about 3.4 million views in each of its first two weeks, according to Collider, which is nearly 7 million combined. That's a big turnaround for a film that earned roughly $30 million worldwide against a reported $60 million budget in theaters.

What is it about? Inspired by a true story, the film follows a secret British unit created under Winston Churchill to sabotage Nazi forces behind enemy lines. Henry Cavill leads the cast, and Ritchson plays Danish soldier Anders Lassen. Eiza González, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Cary Elwes also star. It runs about two hours and is rated R. It holds a 68% critics' score and a 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The 43-year-old actor is openly Christian and has said, "I'm a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do." He starred opposite Hilary Swank in the 2024 faith-based drama Ordinary Angels, and he regularly shares Bible reflections on his YouTube channel, InstaChurch.
