Aerosmith appear to be getting ready for a stage return. A video the band posted Monday shows Steven Tyler and longtime photographer Ross Halfin spelling out "Aerosmith & Friends" on the Hollywood Bowl marquee, alongside two dates: October 29 and November 1. If confirmed, they would be the band's first shows since September 2023.
The video promised that "all will be revealed" Tuesday, but the band instead posted behind-the-scenes outtakes and said more news would come Wednesday, October 7. As of now, there is no official word on tickets, the lineup, or who the "friends" are.
Aerosmith's Peace Out farewell tour ended after just a few dates when Tyler fractured his larynx at a September 9, 2023 show. The remaining dates were postponed, then canceled in August 2024, and the band said its touring days were over. Since then they've made only occasional appearances, plus a five-song EP with Yungblud, One More Time, in November 2025.
So is Aerosmith touring again? Not officially. These look like one-off shows.
A source told Page Six that Tyler's vocal cords are in "great" shape after rehab and rest, though the band hasn't confirmed it. In April, guitarist Joe Perry told Billboard that Tyler had to take a year off and had only recently grown comfortable singing again.
Page Six also reported that several rock names are in talks to join as guests. Nothing has been confirmed.
In the teaser, Halfin asked Tyler if he missed performing. Tyler joked, "Of all the things I ever missed, I missed my mind the most."
