Five-time GRAMMY nominee and award-winning Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West is extending his nationwide Jesus Is King Tour into spring 2027 with 18 newly announced dates.

The additions bring the tour to 35 total stops, including a newly announced April 25 performance at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. The spring leg will begin April 8 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and continue through May 8 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Tickets for the newly announced dates went on sale October 5, with tour information available through Matthew West's official website.

Named after West's 14th studio album, Jesus Is King, the tour brings the album's message of faith, surrender, hope, and the identity of Jesus to audiences across the country. Released September 25, the 12-track project centers on a question West explores throughout the album: Who is Jesus, really?

West wrote or co-wrote all 12 songs on Jesus Is King, including the title track, "Don't Give Up On Me," "Good," "Back To Jesus," "The Good Fight," "Shame Is Not My Story," and "Here And Heaven."

The album's message is also being expanded through a Jesus Is King short film, now available on YouTube, giving listeners a deeper look into the heart behind the project.

West will also appear on TBN on Wednesday, October 7, for A Night of Worship with Matthew West, airing at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET during TBN's Worship Takeover week leading into the GMA Dove Awards.

The new tour dates arrive during another significant season in West's career. He recently celebrated his 40th No. 1 song as a co-writer on Jon Reddick's "Holding On (Praise God)," adding to a catalog that includes more than 375 songwriting credits and nearly three decades of Christian music ministry.

West continues to combine his work as a recording artist and songwriter with his ministry of encouraging listeners to walk in faith and hope. His latest album, Jesus Is King, carries that focus forward with songs centered on surrender, forgiveness, faith, and the hope found in Christ.
