Gypsy Rose Blanchard Breaks Silence As Ken Urker’s Death Sparks Gossip And Funeral Drama

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is asking the public to reconsider its words as speculation surrounding her former fiancé Ken Urker's death collides with a family dispute. In an Instagram message shared Thursday, October 8, the reality television personality warned: "Your gossip could be the darkest time in someone's life." She followed it with a simple appeal: "Be kind."

Blanchard also shared a photograph of roses beside an envelope addressed to Urker. Her post referenced "Kenan's Law," the online harassment petition she launched following his death, bringing her campaign into the same public conversation as her grief.

The message comes amid tension with Urker's sister, Autumn, who has publicly challenged Blanchard's account of the circumstances surrounding his death. Earlier reporting said Urker's family had invited Blanchard to his Texas funeral despite that disagreement. TMZ also reported that she attended a private Louisiana viewing with members of his family and their daughter, Aurora.

Now, a source tells Page Six that Blanchard plans to attend the Texas service and has felt welcomed by his relatives. Blanchard has maintained that her communications with the family have been respectful, while acknowledging her strained relationship with Autumn.

Urker was found dead at his Louisiana home on October 1, his 34th birthday. Although Blanchard has described his death as a suspected overdose, an official cause has not been released. Investigators reported no evidence of foul play, and the death investigation remains ongoing.
