Brandon Lake joins forces with Lainey Wilson, Amy Grant shares the stage with Natalie Grant, and Christian music's biggest names gather for an evening that reaches beyond the trophies. The 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards arrives on television October 9, bringing viewers unexpected collaborations, special tributes, and performances spanning Gospel, worship, country, hip-hop, and bluegrass.
Lake and Wilson's pairing is among the broadcast's biggest draws, placing a leading worship artist alongside one of country music's most recognizable voices. Their appearance anchors a lineup that also includes TobyMac, Anne Wilson, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tauren Wells, and Chosen Road-giving viewers plenty of reasons to keep watching as the musical styles change throughout the celebration.
Another anticipated moment brings Amy Grant and Natalie Grant together for a tribute to Dolly Parton. Announced by the Gospel Music Association as their first shared stage appearance, the collaboration honors Parton's influence on Christian and Gospel music. For audiences who grew up with these artists' recordings, it offers the promise of an especially meaningful meeting of voices and musical legacies.
The evening also honors Richard Smallwood with a tribute featuring Jonathan McReynolds, Kierra Sheard, Donald Lawrence, Maurette Brown Clark, and Ted Winn, with Percy Bady serving as musical director. Jamie MacDonald, Naomi Raine, and Hulvey add further variety to the performance lineup, while Tye Tribbett, Hope Darst, and Elevation Worship round out the announced musical guests. Elevation Worship's contribution comes from Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.
Returning host Tauren Wells gives the celebration its central challenge: "Together For One." Speaking on the red carpet, Wells urged Christians to place their shared witness above their differences, telling The Christian Post, "They will know us by our love for one another." That conviction gives the gathering a purpose beyond recognizing individual achievement.
The presenter lineup adds its own star appeal. CeCe Winans, for KING + COUNTRY, Chris Tomlin, Bart Millard, and CAIN join television personality Julie Chen Moonves, actress Jen Lilley, and The Chosen actors Paras Patel and George H. Xanthis. Viewers will also see recognition extend beyond music through the inaugural Community Impact Award for Peace & Purpose, presented by Jesus Calling, honoring prison ministry God Behind Bars.
Watch the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards on TBN and TBN+ on Friday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern, with a simulcast on SiriusXM's The Message.
