Lana Del Rey closed the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend on Sunday, Oct. 11, with a 75-minute set at the Padang Stage. It was her first full concert in Singapore, and it came after the race.

The stage featured a replica of an American South-style countryside house decorated with fairy lights, with dancers, working swings and a live band. She wore a white dress and later switched to a red gown. Fans in the front row held up vinyl copies of her albums, and the set drew on her catalogue of more than a decade, including "Blue Jeans." The last word at the Padang belonged to "Summertime Sadness."

Elsewhere at the circuit, Janet Jackson performed on the Wharf Stage. It was her first Singapore appearance in 15 years, and she teased a new name, Diamond Black, hinting at what comes next. The Straits Times reported that she also paid tribute to Michael Jackson during the show.

Faith has long run through Del Rey's music. She was raised Catholic. She told The Quietus in 2011 that her understanding of God came from her own experiences. Her 2023 album included an interlude featuring a sermon by pastor Judah Smith. She has never presented herself as a Christian artist.
