New show: How to Get Away with Murder release, spoilers, news: Shonda Rhimes's latest show invites audiences to see the law differently
Shonda Rhimes is at it again: the creative mind behind hits such as the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" and the political series "Scandal" has a new show up her sleeve: "How to Get Away with Murder", which stars Oscar-nominee Viola Davis as defense attorney and law professor Annalise Keating, who teaches at a famous university in Philadelphia.
How to Get Away with Murder spoilers leaked online reveal that Keating's students soon find out that her lectures would have to be applied in real life, as they are involved in a tricky murder plot.
"'How to Get Away with Murder is a very sexy, fast-paced look at the law," said Rhimes in an interview.
She added that Keating's "band of very interesting students find themselves sitting on both sides of the law."
"How to Get Away with Murder" also has Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, and Liza Weil in the cast. "How to Get Away with Murder" release date is set for September 25 on ABC.
Incidentally, it looks like Thursday nights at ABC are Shonda Rhimes nights - "How to Get Away with Murder" airs after "Scandal."
