Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date and Gameplay: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 versions out this November; Xbox version to include gaming freebies
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare news: Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date has been set for this November, coinciding with the release of the new limited edition Xbox One.
The console and the game will be sold as an exclusive bundle, which will include a customized Xbox One, the Day Zero edition of "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare", and a controller tailored for the game.
The Day Zero edition of "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare" will have freebies such as an AK-12 G Assault Rifle, a Crossbow BO2, and 24 hours worth of "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare" gameplay, which you can use ahead of everyone who just has the regular version of the game.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare gameplay themes focus on the business side of wars and how corporations control wars to gain power and money.
Sledgehammer Games tapped military experts to make "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare" as believable as possible.
"Three years ago, right after we finished Modern Warfare 3, we started thinking about how to change Call of Duty," said Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, the team behind "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare".
"We brought in a lot of outside help - military advisers, futurologists - we got together with a scenario planner from the department of defense, who is active in the Pentagon."
After doing their research, the team made sure that the weapons and gameplay could be developed for real.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will also be available for PS3 and PS4.
