The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers: Will Damon and Bonnie return? Is there a New Romance Brewing between Stefan and Caroline?
Ever since the last episode of the 5th season - or maybe since every episode finale of every season - The Vampire Diaries always offers us some cliffhangers. After the season 5 episode "Home" wherein the "Other Side" started to fall apart and Damon and Bonnie held hands seemingly saying goodbye to everyone, rumors and questions started coming out, is Ian Somerhalder and Katerina Graham not coming back? There's a big maybe on that since they let the fans decide it on their preview during the Comic-con 2014.
But set those aside, we are looking forward to The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1, giving us new characters, plots, aftershocks and new couples to ship. Characters such as Enzo (Michael Malarkey), Sarah (Gabriella Walsh) and Tripp (Colin Ferguson) are expected to either cause some trouble or maybe help the gang, also, Alaric is back! Perhaps he really is needed after the Gilbert sibling's great loss. After Stelena, there came Klaroline, now are we supposed to expect Steroline? Executive producer Julie Plec says "Yes, Caroline's romance with Stefan will become a major part of her season 6 storyline" but we are to expect that it's most likely going to be a one-sided affair, poor Caroline.
There's also the possibility that The Vampire Diaries Season 6 release is going to be the last season for the show which is, well, devastating especially for the die-hard fans. But look at the bright side! The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1 entitled "I'll Remember", which is said to start a few more months in their timeline after the crumbling of the "other side", will air on CW on October 2.
