The Dream Center will be holding its 6th annual Night of Dreams Gala, an evening of hope and inspiration, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The fundraising event will attract a number of Hollywood Philanthropists and feature an honorary committee that includes Armie Hammer, Gabby Douglas, Kelly Katz, Kevin Malone, Phil Liberatore, Ted DiBiase Jr., Tyler Williams and Viktor Hammer.

The 2013 Night of Dreams Gala will take place at The Dream Center in Los Angeles. Kicking off at 6 p.m. with a red carpet, attendees can also expect a reception hour which will provide tours of the new area. The main event begins off at 7 p.m. where special guests, including Dru Hammer and Shelly Huey who have dedicated their time in serving those in need, will be honored

In a press release, Pastor Matthew Barnett, co-founder of the Los Angeles Dream Center, talked about the event, saying, "The Night of Dreams is our biggest event of the year. It’s truly an inspiration to see so many people come together each year, who are dedicated to giving back to our community and making a difference in so many lives."

The annual gala brings awareness to the area and the Center while helping raise funds to help meet the increased needs of underprivileged individuals in Los Angeles. It also celebrates lives that have been restored and shares the vision for plans to help even more people in the future over a formal dinner and live auction.

Since 1994, The Dream Center, founded by Tommy Barnett and his son Matthew, has been transforming the lives of men, women and children that the world has given up on. Its programs extend from the darkest corners of Skid Row, to victims of sex trafficking and domestic violence, to desperate addicts, to foster children, to homeless men, women and families, to those who hunger for food and for hope. The Center’s mission is to reconnect those isolated people to God and provide a community of support through free human services that address immediate and long term needs. The services they offer include residential rehabilitation programs for adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, mobile hunger relief and medical programs, and a foster care intervention outreach that works closely with Los Angeles County’s Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Other programs, including adult basic education, job skills training, and life skills counseling are also offered to homeless families and individuals.
