After a successful theater and on-demand run earlier this month, Angels Sing will be releasing to DVD on December 10, 2013. Based on Turk Pipkin's classic Christmas novel, When Angels Sing, viewers are taken into the life of Michael Walker (Harry Connick, Jr.). Walker loved the holidays and wished that every day could be Christmas until a tragic accident broke his holiday spirit. Thirty years later, he is happily married to his loving wife Susan (Connie Britton) and the father to a young son (Chandler Canterbury) when the lease on their home runs out. The perfect house, owned by a mysterious man named Nick (Willie Nelson) is theirs for the taking but there is one catch ... to blend in with neighborhood during the holidays. As Michael faces neighbor after neighbor, all encouraging him to decorate for the holidays, his patience runs thin and the fact that people from all over the world travel to Live Oak Lane to see the decorations doesn't matter. He's willing to be the neighborhood Grinch rather than deal with Christmas. However, when his son David faces a tragedy of his own, Michael knows he has to make amends and come to terms with his past. Nick once again gives him a gift - the gift of courage to face his past and find his joy again.
