NBA Trade Rumors 2014: Phoenix Suns on Eric Bledsoe
The NBA season is upon us again - trades are going to happen here and there once again. The fans of the sport are on their toes as they expect for the greatest trade-offs in their favorite teams, wishing for the best players of the opposing team to be a part of their teams.
One of the biggest rumors right now is that of Phoenix Suns and Eric Bledsoe. An undisclosed person confirmed that both parties have agreed on a five-year, $70 million contract. The person remains anonymous as the decision has not been announced yet. It is more than that of the initial offer Suns had offered, and it was only when there were a few days left that both sides agreed on a commonality. It has been reported that the Suns are willing to raise their offer to Bledsoe, and it seems that their perseverance in getting Bledsoe was fruitful, if ever the rumors are true.
Minnesota Timberwolves were offering Bledsoe a $63 million contract in four years, a good counter to that of Suns. However, it seems that everything is final with Bledsoe's move to the Suns, giving them a bigger advantage.
Aside from Bledsoe, the Suns are reported to be signing Zoran Dragic in. Several NBA teams eyed Dragic after his impressive gameplay on the 2014 FIBA World Cup, including top teams Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs. However, the Suns may have the valuable player, as indicated by the numerous reports that state the same thing.
This season's trades will most likely be interesting as there are a lot of great players that may receive offers from different teams. It's all up to the management of these teams to use their tactics and power to get their coveted players into their teams. Like all other NBA teams, the Phoenix Suns will most likely use its ability to get the players they want the most.
