HP'S new Stream Laptop vs Chromebook Features, Specs, Price: A Comprehensive Comparison

Microsoft is looking forward to grab the mid-ranged laptop market with their new release with HP. The HP announced earlier this month about their plans of bringing the predecessor of Stream 14 in a smaller shape. Therefore, this move might let HP to compete against Chromebook laptops. The small screen laptop market dominated by Chromebook recently but they are about to find their new rival HP Stream laptops.

HP Company has not shared much about the products. The probable configuration that will come with the package will be presented here. The new HP Stream will bring two types of display size. The sizes are 11.6-inch and 13.3inch. It has been designed especially for portable provision. They are very light in weight and small in shape. So, users will find it easy and comfortable to carry. Both of the laptops come with Intel Celeron powered processors. Both the Stream laptops bring fan less design. Therefore, users will find no annoying extra noise while processor is under pressure.    

The HP Stream laptop will carry attractive packages. HP will offer 200MB of 4G-internet data access free of cost and it will replenish every month. This feature only will come with 13.3-inch model of the laptop. It will unavailable in the 11.6-inch Stream laptop. HP has not explained the reason for this discrimination. It might be related to company's promotional policy. The 13.3-inch model laptop will allow 7hours and 45 minutes HD video footage playback till the battery conks out. On the other hand, the 11.6-inch model is going to showcase 8hours and 15 minutes for the HD video playback. Buyers will get 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive space for one year whereas Google offers 100GB for two years with their Chromebooks.

Buyers will also get office 365 personal for a year. So far, the available colors of the 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch laptop are known as Horizon Blue and Orchid Magenta. The shipping will begin from November but the company has not yet announced the carrier names. The 11.6-inch model will cost around $200 and the 13.3-inch model will cost around $230.
