Netflix 'Daredevil' Star Charlie Cox: My Character Does Odd Moves; First Daredevil Suit, Rosario Dawson's Role Revealed

Charlie Cox believes that "Daredevil" works very well on the Netflix platform and one of the reasons is that his titular character "kind of does super slightly odd moves and so we're able to do that on Netflix."

On Oct. 10, Friday, Marvel debuted the first footage of the series at New York Comic Con, Business Insider reported.

During the panel, Marvel television president Jeph Loeb took questions from fans as long as they have something to do with "Daredevil or someone that's up here on the stage thing."

When asked by a fan how it feels transitioning from HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" to Netflix's "Daredevil," Cox said there was one thing that particularly stuck out while reading "Daredevil" the scripts about the difference between a Netflix series and a regular TV show.

For Cox, it is interesting that there is not a week in-between so there will be less time for Netflix to spend on reminding audiences what happened.

Cox also told the crowd it does not matter if an episode ends on a cliff-hanger since Netflix fans can simply click the play button and continue watching so more time will be spent on the real story.

"You can make it a little bit darker and really give the fans who love that series what they want so much," the actor also said.

Netflix and Marvel released the first images from "Daredevil" after the panel, which includes the titular character "Daredevil" in full costume inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s version in "Daredevil: The Man Without Fear."

Also starring Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, the 13-episode drama "Daredevil" will be exclusively streamed on Netflix in 2015, Comic Book Resources reported.

According to Marvel television producer Jeph Loeb, Dawson's character is a "nurse who works at night," which is based on Marvel's series in the 1970s called "Night Nurse," Vulture has learned.

Other cast members of "Daredevil" include Toby Leonard Moore as Wilson Fisk's right-hand man Wesley, Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsley, Vondie Curtis Hall as investigative journalist Ben Urich and Ayelet Zurer as the future Vanessa Fisk named Vanessa Marianna.
