NBA 2014 Trade Rumors, Updates and Reveals: Lowry up for Cavaliers but Toronto Manager Masai Ujiri says Otherwise
The opening of the 2014-2015 NBA season is fast approaching and the trade rumors are spreading like wild fire involving some high profile catches like Kyle Lowry and Roy Hibberts. It is suspected that the Cleve land Cavaliers want the Indiana Pacers center Roy Hubert because they need more power in the middle and they are even willing to trade in Don Waiters and Verajo for him in order to balance his value in trade money as stipulated by the recently updated rules in this department. Apparently, the Cavaliers have already been successful in convincing former Heat player LeBron James to come over to their side which increases their chances of making it to the playoffs significantly, considering toy also won over former Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Love.
It surely looks like the Cavaliers are building the dream team by trying to get Roy from the Pacers because he would solidify the middle, completing their strong line up. There rumor is about Kyle Lowry and about him signing a four year deal this off season with the Toronto Raptors. There are several reports that suggest the Raptors and waiting until after January 15 next year to trade him off. However, general manager Masai Ujiri stated that they were not going to let go of Lowry. Apparently he believes that he is going to be their star player in the coming years saying he is the one to beat. "He does have a presence. He plays hard. He has the edge. That's the honest truth-he does have an edge. You can call him what you want. He does this or he does that. He has the edge. And he wants to win," said Lowry in an interview with the Toronto Sun.
Some of the other players that are rumored to be traded off include Paul Millsap and Goran Dragic, because they are soon coming to the end of their contracts and this puts them on the list. The 2014-2015 NBA season is going to start on October 28th with the San Antonio Spurs versus the Dallas Mavericks.
