Demi Lovato 2014 News: Her Upcoming New Album, a Special Collaboration with Olly Murs in "Up"
In an earlier interview with the MTV, Demi Lovato said, "I am working on a new album. I think that I'll be so extremely busy with the world tour," and she surely is these days.
The latest news on Demi Lovato includes a special collaboration with Olly Murs.
Discussing his new upcoming album "Never Been Better", Olly said "I have a song on the album featuring Demi, which is really, really cool ... The track's called 'Up,' and I'm very excited she's on it. I think it's a really cool song. I've always wanted to do a duet with -- we were looking around, trying to figure out who to get. We did ask quite a few different artists at different points, but we didn't quite work out...Demi was the perfect person. She was, I think, kind of what I needed on this album".
As for Demi's upcoming album, she told MTV, "it won't come out for a while but I have started and have worked on some stuff that is really amazing and I can't wait for people to hear it", adding that the new album is going to be "more organic" than her previous ones.
"I'm ready to take it to a whole other level", the singer said, expressing her enthusiasm for the next album.
She shared further, "You know, it's funny, sometimes I'll say I want to make a more country album or I want to make a more rock album or I want to make an R&B album and it's like, I will never know until all the songs are on the actual album. Because what happens is I love all different types of music, I'm literally influenced by every single type of music there is...I'll never know until I decide which songs are on the album and it may be a compilation of different types and it may all just be pop or it may take on a life of its own", stating that she doesn't like to label herself to any genre.
