Casey J Performs “Let It Be Known” on "Joyful Noise"
One of gospel music's brightest young stars Casey J continues to shine her light and let it be known that God is the center of her life. The former Atlanta elementary schoolteacher will perform her rousing, urban-flavored radio single "Let It Be Known" this Sunday, October 23 @9:00 AM EST on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) new musical television series, "Joyful Noise."
Casey J has been performing "Let It Be Known" on the fifty-city "Festival of Praise" (starring Fred Hammond and Hezekiah Walker) concert tour that runs through early December. The song was originally recorded by the London-based band Worship Central and later covered by Contemporary Christian music artists Lincoln Brewster and Phillips, Craig & Dean. The crowd-pleaser is catching on at gospel radio stations across the country and inspiring spontaneous dance moves among the "Festival of Praise" audiences. Even the "Joyful Noise" studio audience broke out into spontaneous dancing during Casey J's performance.
Casey J's first radio single "Fill Me Up" spent 14 weeks atop Billboard Magazine's Gospel Airplay chart in 2015 and her next offering "I'm Yours" spent five weeks at No. 1 on the same chart in 2016. Her album "The Truth" (Marquis Boone/Tyscot Records) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Gospel Albums sales chart and continues to sell briskly. Visit www.caseyjmusic.com for Casey J updates.
