Hillsong Worship Reveals Why They Entitled Their New Album "These Same Skies"
GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Hillsong Worship announces that they will be releasing theire brand new album These Same Skies on Nov. 5. This Friday, they will be releasing a new single from the set entitled "Never Walk Alone." This new song follows on the heels of their recently released singles "Hope of the Ages" and "Fresh Wind."
The team announces, "We are so excited to announce that we will be releasing a live album on November 5th - `These Same Skies'. Though separated by oceans and borders the mandate of Hillsong Worship continues under these same skies. One in heart and spirit, unified in mission and cause - to glorify the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to build His Church, and to serve His Church with the new song. AND this Friday, we release our first single "Never Walk Alone".
The album's title has been inspired by Psalm 19:1 which says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Hillsong's leader and songwriiter Reuben Morgan writes, "I believe this is the greatest season in history for the church of Jesus Christ. Christ and His gospel is the hope of the ages. Jesus died. Jesus is risen. Jesus is coming back again. Because of Jesus, we have hope. I pray that this truth will always be for you - a strength to your soul and a fire in your bones."
Fans are already expressing their excitement over the forthcoming release. One fan reveals,"Your songs are divine, its bring heaven on earth, the presence of God. I love your devotion to the work of our Lord Jesus, i love the way you minister through worship with excellence may he bless you abundantly and continue to equip you all." Another concurs, "With your songs, I feel am next to God. God bless y'all."
With over 3 BILLION career streams, 5.1 MILLION global tracks, and over 20 MILLION career album sales, Hillsong Worship continues to reach nations and generations by writing and leading songs that influence both individual devotion and congregational worship for the glory of God.
