Daniel Radcliffe Gay Rumors Addressed by 'Harry Potter' Star, Gay Sex Scene in 'Kill Your Darlings' Spurred Speculations
"Harry Potter" is no doubt one of the most influential and popular children's books of all time. So when it was adapted into a series of films, all seven books with the last one being divided into two parts, it only followed that it would become a household name.
Daniel Radcliffe, who was only 11 years old at the time, got casted with the role of the lead character of the books with the same name. Like the "Harry Potter" books, he soon also became a household name, known not only by children, but teenagers and adults as well.
Fast forward 13 years later, Radcliffe is now a wealthy young man, with the actor being estimated to have a $110 million net worth. He has worked his way up the ladder, and as we all are aware of, there are some who would rather see him go down.
With the kind of popularity that he has, one will no longer wonder why there are just so many Daniel Radcliffe gay rumors floating around.
So in an interview with The Guardian, the Harry Potter star shared what his reaction was when he first heard and read about these rumors.
According to him, he learned of these speculations about his sexuality after he Googled his name. As the actor told The Guardian, the search results he came up with were: "Daniel Radcliffe alcoholic. Daniel Radcliffe gay. Daniel Radcliffe girlfriend." He confessed that, at first, he "got really annoyed" but then, when he searched for the names of other people, he noticed that the word "gay" was attached to almost each one of them.
As the Daily Mail UK has reported, the "Harry Potter" actor stated that, "If people are speculating about your sexuality, then you're doing OK."
All these Daniel Radcliffe gay rumors have been going on for quite some time now, as evidenced by yet another report from MTV, wherein the actor also addressed them.
And, as you may have correctly guessed, the gay sex scene that the actor had in the movie titled "Kill Your Darlings" just spurred more speculations about his sexuality and his "straightness."
