BIO

Steven Curtis Chapman, the man who has won more Dove Awards than any other artist in the history of the awards, was born on November 21, 1962 in Paducah, Kentucky.


Signed to Provident, Chapman spent years with Sparrow Records as one of their top artists.


Married to Mary Beth in 1984, the couple are parents to Will, Caleb, Emily, Stevey Joy and Shaohannah. Their youngest, Maria, was killed in an accident in 2008.
