Boy or a Girl? Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Find Out the Sex of Their Baby
Country music superstar Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher have gone through great pains not to know the sex of their baby. However, at their latest visit to the doctor, instead of asking their doctor at the office, they told the doctor to write down the sex of the baby on a piece of paper placed in an envelope.
While the couple were away from the doctor's office, they retreated to a quiet restaurant. Together, they opened the envelope that affirmed what they were were already suspecting.... the baby is a boy.
"[It was] just the two of us in a nicer setting, but we both knew," the 'Something in the Water' hitmaker assures. "So, that was just confirming our suspicions. We didn't really speak of it before, 'cause we were both just like, 'Whatever. It's all good.' But we knew it was a boy."
Luckily, country fans didn't have to wait until the baby's birth to learn the secret, as Brapd Paisley "spilled" the sex of the baby during the 2014 CMA Awards. Underwood admits she had to wait until the last minute to tell him - clearly, she knew he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
"Brad's got loose lips," she explains. "He's a blabbermouth. So, I was like, 'I'm not gonna tell you until we're ready for the rest of the world to know, 'cause I know you'll tell people.'"
Currently Underwood's latest single "Something in the Water" is at #1 on both Billboard's Christian and Country singles chart.
