Chris Tomlin Releases New Single "Jesus," July 15

Worship leader and songwriter Chris Tomlin follows up his Top 10 Christian hit "Good Good Father" with a brand new single "Jesus."  The single releases on July 15.  It will be from Tomlin's forthcoming album to be released this fall.

"I looked for a million other ways to title it," he said. "Because to be honest, if you're going to call it 'Jesus,' then it better be the best song ever written. And I'm not saying it's that, but I'm very excited for people to hear it."

Tomlin says the new record is about seventy percent complete at this time. "When I look for a record, I'm just trying to find songs for the church that can find their way; I'm looking for simplicity and I'm asking God for songs, praying for songs, that people can sing."
