Elevation Worship Scores First Top 10 with "O Come to the Altar"
Elevation Worship scores their first Top 10 on Billboard's Christian Airplay with "O Come to the Altar." This week, the song jumps 14-9, up 12 percent to 6 million in audience, as it jumps 14-9.
The song is taken from Elevation Worship's album Here as in Heaven, which debuted at No. 1 on Top Christian Albums on Feb. 27, 2016. Elevation Worship's latest LP, There Is a Cloud, became its fourth Top Christian Albums No. 1 when it debuted atop the chart dated April 8, 2017. "O Come to the Altar" reaches the region in its 29th week, tying Citizen Way's "How Sweet the Sound" (2014) for the song with the second-longest top 10 trip completion; one sonic society's "Great Are You Lord" hit the top 10 in its 32nd week (Nov. 19, 2016).
Elevation Worship is a contemporary worship music band from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band's main vocalists are Chris Brown, Mack Brock, London Gatch, Jane Williams, Jenna Winders Barrientes, and Jonsal Barrientes, as well as many other contributing musicians and vocalists. The band leads worship in weekend church services, as well as performing concerts and tours around the United States. They have previously toured with other contemporary Christian bands including Hillsong Worship, Darlene Zschech, Kari Jobe, Jesus Culture, Rend Collective, Passion, and others
