Pop/R&B singer Jennifer Hudson has released her latest music video for her single "Walk It Out." The video is a new direction for her, you can watch the video above.  off her upcoming third album.

The 32-year-old worked with Timbaland on the song. She shared to MTV, "I think it's more of a feeling, more than a genre, and I've had the pleasure of working with Pharrell and Timbaland, and I love their process. They allow you to express yourself musically as an artist, as a writer, in every way. It's been a lot of fun."

Jennifer Hudson came rose to national stardom back in 2004 when she was a contestant on Season 3 of the FOX hit reality singing competition "American Idol". Hudson finished in seventh place that season, but had already won over fans across America and her career was launched. 

Hudson has released two full length albums the self-titled Jennifer Hudson (2008) and I Remember Me (2011). She won a Grammy Award for her debut album, Jennifer Hudson, released in 2008. The album spawned the hit single "Spotlight" and was certified gold by the RIAA, with sales exceeding a million copies worldwide. Her second album, I Remember Me, was released 2011 and was certified gold by the RIAA, producing the hit "Where You At".

As an actress, she made her film debut in Dreamgirls (2006), for which she gained worldwide acclaim and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, an NAACP Image Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has also appeared in such films as Sex and the City (2008), The Secret Life of Bees (2008) and Winnie Mandela (2013). 

In October 2008, after Hudson's mother, brother and nephew were killed in a shooting, Hudson stepped out of the public eye for three months. Hudson resumed her public appearances in 2009 and has since performed at the Super Bowl XLIII, the Grammy Awards, American Idol, and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
