Josh and Kirsten Shive Help Us to Remember God's Word with New Album
Since 2016, Josh and Kirsten Shive had began writing Scripture songs to help the families in their church memorize God's Word. Now they have recorded these songs on their new album, "Every Word of God Proves True." This record is made to encourage children and adults in everyday life. "Every Word of God Proves True" was produced by Asher Peterson.
Josh and Kirsten Shive have been leading worship together at churches and campus ministries since 2002. They both serve on the worship team at Trinity Church of Nashville and contributed to Trinity's project, Amazing Love in 2015. Influenced by artists such as Randall Goodgame (Slugs and Bugs), Rain for Roots, Seeds Family Worship, and Ellie Holcomb, Josh and Kirsten have written Scripture songs for their local congregation that are simple enough for children to sing but appeal to listeners of all ages.
